Mandatory Skill Training(NPTEL) Program For CMA Final Students for Appearing in June 25/Dec25 Attempt ?

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) in Partnership with National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is offering the course “Business Intelligence & Analytics” for their CMA-Final level students as a mandatory course. (Source is Mail Screenshot)

This mail is to inform you that you have not yet registered for the course.As this is a mandatory course for the students to take it up and post completion of the course only you can get the results for the ICMAI Exam.

Hence please follow the below steps and register first , and then you can start taking up the course.

How to login into course content :

Step 1 : Login to https://code.iitm.ac.in/ICMAI-NPTEL/

Step 2 : Enter your eMail ID registered with ICMAI and enter OTP sent to eMail.

Step 3 : Verify the Registration form if all the details are correct and provide additional details related to education background

Step 4 : Upload a clear photograph which will be printed in the certificate.
Step 5 : Once registration form is verified , please click on view course details tab – you will be redirected to the website.

Step 6 : In the website click on “Course details tab” at the top and click ” Click here to start the course” – you will be redirected to the course. content page.
Step 7 : For the first time login , click on “Sign up ” and enter your ICMAI Registered eMail ID and create a password.
Step 8 : Use the same eMail ID and Password and click on Sign in.
Step 9 : You can now start watching the videos in each module and take up the assignments in the respective modules.

Step 10 : Marks for each assignment can be viewed in the Grades tab on the left side of the course content page.

About the Course:
This course equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills on the thought process, modelling approaches and tools required to use data from enterprise databases and other sources for business decisions. In turn, the course prepares participants for a career in data science, business analytics and market research. This course will introduce the context of data mining, and cover important modelling techniques such as regression, decision trees, clustering, and ANN.

Course Contents & Assignments

Courses will be offered in a self-paced mode.
The course is divided into Modules.
Each module will have multiple videos and one assignment of 10 MCQ’s.
Each assignment may be attempted any number of times and once you submit, the marks you have obtained will become visible.
If the marks obtained are more than 40, the assignment will freeze and you cannot attempt it again.
If the marks obtained are lesser than 40, you can attempt it again.
Once the score is more than 40 in all the assignments in each of the modules you will get a participation certificate and eligible to participate in the optional Exam conducted by NPTEL. The exam and certification details are given under the Certificates tab, please go through the same for exam eligibility and certification criteria.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE

Assignment score = Score more than 40% in all assignments.
Exam score = 50% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100
Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
